Guys like Elon and Bezos probably grew up wanting to be Batman not for his making Gotham better, but for his being so wealthy that he could spend his free time beating up on people poorer than him while looking like a hero.

Agreed. If this budget passes all of us are going to have to check in with each of our medically challenged friends on a regular basis. With the ongoing cuts to VA and Medicaid they're going to have a hard time.
