Trump’s efforts to gut the federal workforce should be understood as part of the broader Republican project to make public services shitty so people will hate and resent the government. For other examples, see most red states. Republicans do not want a government that actually works for people.

The GOP has been running the same playbook since Reagan.
It's unclear whether they really suck at governing or really good at making government suck.
We lose either way.
Resent and/or be forced to use privatized services at markups and service degradation for the profit of those who destroyed the gov't service. And likely bought up the private version in advance.
Or citizens getting ideas about their competitive value in the workforce.
Keep 'em not knowing any better, keep raking resources to the top percent.
Keep them angry at each other so they won't notice.
If Dems are on the side of people, why is it still allowed, why was it allowed to begin with?
Why is Colorado doing the same thing with it's water rights?
You know how long people used to live before that stuff, right?
I don't think the markets would regulate themselves but the government already sells out people to corps. (See water rights in California and Colorado, AZ)
The only reason republicans exist is to make sure government doesn’t work so it forces the large amount of idiots in this country to think that private is the way to go over public.
Perfect marks.
I opened a business on paper and it took me a month and over a thousand dollars.
