Trump needed decades to build himself as an icon with charisma to get here. I hate that he has charisma, but it’s the truth. But it’s also lightning in a bottle. GOP can’t do it themselves. They need someone who did it on their own to get into politics.

Yeah, DeSantis was the poster boy for this, and I suppose Vance is now supposed to be the "next guy". Too bad he seems almost universally disliked.
