That's where I'm at. I just wish I knew how to prepare. What will go first? Access to food, reliable utilities, medical care, etc? How do I get ready for Social Security being dismantled when I'm paycheck to paycheck? How do I raise my kid to survive in an uncertain future?

We're fairly well set up for short term disasters - major storms and power outages. I even anticipated food supply issues due to climate change but figured we probably had another 10 years or so before that was a major issue. But an actively hostile system...that's throwing me for a loop.

A lot is going to depend on how much they follow through on shit like killing the ACA or banning ADHD meds and shit... and I expect now that they have the chance they may find they're less in agreement on following through... but people are going to needlessly suffer and die and that is devastating.
