I'm rereading all my Pratchett books and Theif of Time is honestly bad. But it's bad when compared to his other stuff, which means it's still a blast to read.

Especially at this time of year, I feel the new-Discworld-book-void in my life. They always came out October-ish, and Hubs and I always read them out loud to each other over the Christmas baking and wrapping, gave us such long and thoughtful conversations (among the laughter). GNU Terry Pratchett.
I wish I'd had the chance to thank him personally for the years I was able to give my son a new Discworld book for Christmas, and the joy we had reading them.
The Winter Holidays are more melancholy without him and his books. I’m so glad I got to see him in person at a book reading years ago. His comment that stands out was how Granny Weatherwax and Sam Vimes were cut from the same cloth.

On the upside, I still have one unread of each of my favourite contemporary authors.
I have finally listened to David Bowie's "Blackstar", which I couldn't bring myself to do for several years.
