Glad that my filing is so basic that I got my W-2 and sent it in on Thursday. Got my refund yesterday. I would recommend filing as soon as possible to avoid any Musk based fuckery.

That is by design so the you have to pay someone to do your taxes.
The IRS already had all the numbers and already does all the calculations so they know what your filing will be.

Yes. The entire system we have is to add fees and make it complicated so everyone gets ripped off.
