Blocking people and muting words has made my social media experience so much better.

I had forgotten about some of my muted words expiring and couldn't understand why I was getting bothered by *gestures everywhere*. Then yesterday I wanted to mute a word and noticed. Now life is not as bad.

I can think of some nice things to say about the old-timey soft blocks, and getting used to the hard stop on here takes a bit of time, But the full block seems like it's probably better for everyone even if it often feels a little worse at first.
