I grew up in Massachusetts and it took me a while to adapt to LA but god damn I fucking love this place, never felt like more of an LA partisan in my life

We spent 40+ years of our life--20s thru retirement--in MA before coming to LA, 11 years ago. This current ordeal, along with the poignant solidarity inspired by the fires this year, has also made us ever more devoted to LA.
Massive respect. I went to school in Philly, and while I no longer live there, I stand by every activist, social worker, and protestor (and every Eagles fan) fighting the Good Fight there.
I’m the opposite, Angeleno moved to MA for a while (back now) and the first day I really felt Bostonian after 5+ years there when the Sox broke the curse. Party in the streets, not quite the same circumstance!!
We moved to Boston from the midwest in our early 20s. My husband could not give up his devotion to the Cubs, UNTIL the 1975 season when he converted to the Red Sox, and as they say, there is no zeal equal to that of a convert!!

zeal of the converted and all that.
mox, hearing someone talk shit about LA: run. run now, or we can not be held responsible for whatever is about to happen.
