I don't see how the Honey extension is all that different from any other malicious browser extension, but because it's PayPal they'll probably get away with it. Boy it would be funny to see PayPal get some cybercrime charges.

Ahh... Interesting. I did install it a while ago, but nothing good happened... Saw it doing some shady stuff with page manipulation, then I think I had a purge and removed it.

I thankfully took my own advice when it was being advertised everywhere and asked "How do they make money?"

The answer... sounded like the Return Mail Coupons used in literally the first Ponzi scheme.
