I just am not sure where I picked up "y'all". Was it the Newfies? I don't think it's an Alberta thing?

Is it an Albertan thing? Huh. I guess it's like the Canadian "eh" and I just don't hear it.

I blame the Stampede for y'all. I'm thankful that in all my years living in Calgary and now in Atlanta that y'all is not part of my vocabulary.
As for me and eh, I lost that in my teen years by making a conscious effort to drop it. I hated the stereotype.

I (fellow Canadian) think I picked it up from Twitter. So online that I start speaking differently? Maybe.
