That's my reading of it. But not double-crossed. More like spanked.
Zuck paid Dems to get rid of his rivals. Now Trump is holding up the TikTok deal, stealing Zuck's lunch money and - presumabley - forcing him to spread the same misinformation Zuck was complaining about in the first place.

You're right. Looks like he paid lobbying firms to get it banned, though that suggests both Reps and Dems got their beak wet on this one.

I wish they had been lobbing them rather than lobbying them. I have visions of members of Congress being lobbed by workers at Meta, with competitions as to who can lob whom furthest.
