“He even went for people with [x] disability!” I read someone write on here earlier, about Trump blaming disabled people for planes crashing, and, like - can we stop grading disabilities on a curve, like there are some it’s acceptable to attack? Even if you don’t mean it, it has those connotations.

I literally just used this argument when emailing my MP re the ALCS’s request that authors do so to object to the UK government’s wish to make an exception to copyright laws for AI. As a poor disabled writer, I feel like I’m being stolen from by tech billionaires, which seems a tad unfair.

I read 5 million words of fanfic in January. And I’m not ashamed of it, either. I’m bedbound, unable to watch tv very much (like, for about an hour a week), can’t wfh because my brain doesn’t function reliably. Fanfic is one of my best joys. Many thanks to the writers who helped me this month.
