Monte Carlo, I couldn’t think of a worse place to live. A friend who worked in the oil industry was taken there on a jolly one time and even the ‘oil types’ had to conclude Monte Carlo was the justification for the atomic bomb.
Well, hardly surprising.
Almost all populist parties are a front for other interests (Not ours).
They couldn't care less for citizens and their wellbeing.
Interesting as someone who worked in the yachting world in Southampton and tried to contact Hepburn on a number of occasions and they didn’t seem to exist 🧐
That's the problem, that foreign companies having UK subsidiaries that presumably can donate to political parties. What's to stop Musk donating mega amounts to Reform via a UK registered Twitter office?
Yep - that’s why all foreign-originated donations filtered through uk entity must be capped at, say 10% max, of the uk corporation tax paid by that entity. That would sort out undue influence from the tax dodgers… sorry tax haven residents.
Now Charlie Mullins has finally moved to Spain (he was often there anyway, it seems) presumably any donations from him would class as "from abroad".
He'd already given Reform £20K at the point he was hanging out with Farage during election campaign (after his "someone should kill" tweet re Sadiq).
"One of the biggest donors to the UK's Conservative Party is suspected of secretly funneling $630,225 to the party from a Russian account, a bank alert showed. The cash was part of a fund-raising blitz that helped propel the party to victory in 2019"

We also need to ban donations from all organisations such as companies and trade unions.
Individual donations should be no more than £2,500 in any year.
We need this in Wales now.
Is it because they themselves accept lots of money from nondoms, foreign billionaires, organisations and trades unions themselves.
“Let he who’s without blame cast the first stone”.

Sums it up well.
Both Byline Times & Private Eye should probably be recommended reading in all schools, universities, cafes, homes etc.

Working people who believe that Farage is on their side have been taken for fools.

She also mentioned the Tories had threatened Stephen Kinnock with legal action in 2019 for questioning the donation
The deputy speaker said it wasn't her problem...

It’s almost like they’re a self serving bunch of wankers who’re taking people for a ride. Shocked I tell you
With as much sincerity as a Reform MP
You trusted the charlatan @nigelfarage.bsky.social
And apparently you still listen to him.
