Frankly, I think most of them are waiting for the stock market to crash, which would cause corporate donations to dry up. Notice how fast Trump backed off from the Canada/Mexico tariffs when the Dow dropped 500 points. I would imagine he got a clear message that Congress wasn't going to back him.

I couldn’t agree more with you. Not only did the GOP members of Congress not protest, they enthusiastically approved and rushed to introduce legislation that would make some of Trump’s illegal actions legal (ie. Chip Roy and MGT killing USAID after Musk already did it illegally).
