Given the relationship between legal and undocumented immigration on US economic growth, what happens to growth in the context of this double crackdown? In conjunction with deportations, tariffs and slashed federal spending, one can certainly understand why US expected growth has been downgraded.

It wasn’t that long ago that the CBO was projecting trillions in growth from immigration (of all kinds). Large financial institutions were crediting increased immigration (again, of all kinds) for the rapid recovery of the economy since Covid hit.
