The Abbey of Dulce Cor (Sweetheart Abbey), near Dumfries, Scotland.

Founded in 1273 by Lady Dervorguilla of Galloway, in memory of John de Balliol, her husband of 45 years.

She kept his embalmed heart with her, in a silver-bound ivory casket, for the rest of her life.
