On #WorldBookDay here’s the largest known medieval illuminated book known as the Gigas Codex (& sometimes the Devil’s Bible after the unusual full page depiction of Satan in the pic). It’s 36” high, 20” wide & 9” thick. It was written & illuminated in C13th Bohemia.
