Gentle reminder that many disabled people can’t always shop local, especially if housebound. We’re dependent on delivery & sometimes left with big chains as only option.

If you can, help someone get what they need from a great local minority owned business!

It just kills me that I can't physically go to meet people in public spaces. I have people but they're all disconnected & despite all my challenges I'm the only one trying to connect people to each other.

Once I was taken out, a lot of connection went with me. I was the planner.

A million times this. Many people are privilged enough to never have to think about things like food deserts, but if you start going "we need to boycott this place" without thinking how to help those for whom that place is the *only* option

This is so true. The conservative movement is based in some of the worst parts of American culture. Self over community, disdain for empathy, a belief that resources are scare (lie) and can't be shared when that scarcity is artificial, etc.
