USA needs to have a real look at their D core. When you have a top pair playing nearly half the game, that just isn’t sustainable for an Olympic tournament.

- Jaccob Slavin reestablished himself as the NHL’s best defensive D-man
- The Tkachuks are now transcendent. Normies know their names, how they play.
- Will be very interesting see what USA does with its bottom six in 2026, because this wasn't it.

You still need guys who can move the puck well. Like, it's always painfully obvious to us when Ghost is out of the lineup.
They probably didn't have their balance right though.
I'll definitely have to watch for that. I wonder how much some of those just weren't used to having other automatic zone exits outside of them? 😂
