I honestly think opposition parties need to tell CompassNZ they’re on notice. All their government contracts for hospitals or wherever need to be reviewed. I don’t want a company that does this to NZ kids with taxpayer $$ to get away with it.

CompassNZ is a subsidiary company. Local staff even at CEO level would take instructions from overseas head office. Opposition needs to make sure overseas owners of Compass know. Not that they will pay any attention.

Given serious breaches by Compass companies in other countries, I doubt threat of losing a small contract in Aotearoa NZ would worry them.

Sorry to be cynical but my experience working for another NZ branch of an MNE was a pattern of ignoring "concerns" and paying fines but no real change. 🦗🦗 🦗

NZ Govt can still do the right thing even if CompassNZ don’t care about the health and well-being of NZ kids. There’s still a Compass CEO, MD and senior execs in NZ being paid exorbitantly while poverty wages and orchestrating this farce on behalf of the parent company, they deserve to be ashamed.
