Let me plant a flag here on Bluesky for one of the oldest debates on the internet: "GIF" is properly pronounced "jif," like the peanut butter.

Further, they likely do not speak English, and so the English rules of prononciation do not apply.
I just personally find it funny how everyone here says GIF but then also says JIT. There's no rules or here
