Another Friday, and the end of another week during which Labour could have taken the first steps towards rejoining the EU, but instead chose to explicitly repaint its radioactively bright Brexit red lines.
So much wasted opportunity, it's incredible.

“Britain will stay outside of the EU. But to seize the opportunities ahead, we must make Brexit work. We will reset the relationship and seek to deepen ties with our European friends, neighbours and allies.”
There’s no mandate for rejoining.
Labour would surely be hugely admired for being more 'Carney' and taking the charlatan head on
"Despite what was in our manifesto, the world has changed 180° since it was written.
America is not a reliable friend atm.

He believes cosplaying Reform is a winner.
The world has changed. He is no leader of change, and worse, he lacks the nous to change with the world.
In the modern Labour Party, the two things most damaging to the country must never be mentioned: Donald Trump and Brexit.
(I'm not defending them! I don't like them at all. But they're not some monstrous bogeyman, despite what certain prominent accounts on here and on Twitter keep claiming.)
Where Brexit is concerned they use the manifesto as a reason they can’t entertain rejoining.
Trump is never happy unless the other party loses on some way.
It's like an arsonist claiming he can save the fabric of a building by burning it down. He can SAY what he likes, but the flames tell the real story.
Oh, you can't.
