It’s so much worse now. Back then, we could tell ourselves that if we had only known what he REALLY was, he would never have gotten elected. We can’t tell ourselves that anymore. We know, he’s told us his plans, and he got elected anyway. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to wrap my mind around it.

My 11 YO daughter told me that the most important part of Kamala’s nomination speech was discussing Jan. 6th. She was in 2nd grade when it happened, and all four elementary aged kids and I watched for hours in horror. I think it’s their generation’s 9/11, except the terrorists are us.
