This is a nice idea - it's always frustrated me a little that all the Thorndon Quay signs have generic text about the improvements to the area (e.g. 'we're adding six signalised crossings') when they could show the plans/art of what each section will look like when finished.

I am so so happy this council is doing something about the water. In the 30 years I've lived here, this feels like the first council to properly tackle the infrastructure issues.

Agree, Geordie. The one thing that hasn't seen an obvious improvement is the street cleaning and rubbish bins in the CBD (especially Te Aro/Cuba). I'm sure it's on your list!

The divergence between the budgeted and actual expenditure over this term has been due to delays in capital projects, so the budget is carried forward into the following year. While it appears larger the proportion is consistent with other sections of underspend in the graph (~86%)
