The most important thing that Sanders/AOC gets that most Democrats don’t is the importance of real broad social movements unaffiliated with the Democratic Party, who can push it from the outside. Eliz Warren i think has learned this. Obama, Biden, Harris, most establishment Dems absolutely not.

I think it’s possible for a certain kind of lib to see both stances as consistent. I mean it’s the kind of lib who is cool with civil rights but didn’t become political because of them. When they had part of the power, power was cool or at least necessary which kinda trumps cool for this kind of lib
