CT General Assembly (CGA) did the same thing in 2022 and again now in 2025 for gross abuses of power, sexual harassment, and workplace torture. People pay to protect legislators and managers who break laws. CGA even purposefully exempts themselves from State Employer law (CGS Sec. 5-270). (1/2)
The Cuomo "conversation" just makes me livid. Years ago there was a pretty good documentary about Chappaquidick. They interviewed people who said Kennedy got away with murder, but of course they'd vote for him again.
Also: he took $ from nursing home owners, greatly decreased their exposure / liability in lawsuits, and sent COVID cases there in 2020, killing many residents (& some staff). Textbook corruption, covered by David Sirota's Lever among others.
And he thinks so little of us, that he is suing the NY comptroller to use even more of OUR money to sue the attorney general, while he is actively running for mayor!

(1) Repeal the ridiculous 300-day statute of limitations on sexual harassment (CGS Sec. 46a-82), and
(2) End the exemption of CT's Legislative Branch from State Employer laws under CGS Sec. 5-270.

One of the many reasons I'm frustrated to have left NYC is because I want so badly to vote against his mayoral campaign.
