They did that in 2020 bc the AP proved there was not in fact a fed policy requiring them to let ICE onboard, as they had been saying. And they had to pay like $2.2MM in restitution. Don't get me wrong, I'm psyched the policy changed, but I'm not sure it exactly came from a place of solidarity.
