I am very close to just hoping we fail completely, except I know that so many people less fortunate than me will hurt so much more .
The only think I can think is a closed govt would encourage them to close down more of govt. But they are doing as much as they can as quick as they can. They aren't restrained..

I just hope everyone supporting Dems in voting NO right now will support Dems when shit hits fan for them & us.
To be clear, the "30-day CR" is a Dem amendment that only gets a vote IF the Dems allow cloture on the House-passed CR bill. When the amend. fails (Ds don't have the votes), the Senate passes the House CR version with 51 votes instead of 60.
