I have Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and X that I have not played yet but holding on to the Switch 2 because I hope they get better performance there, even if they do not get an enhanced edition. I hope games that have inconsistent frame rates on the Switch get a solid locked one on the Switch 2 at least.

Yeaaaah but that's a small margin of the player base though.

Out of 20+ mil copies you're probably describing 100k players who might have that issue

And it's possible it just works for s2 out of box without an update

I'm sure it will work. But as one of their top selling games of all time (might be #1?) on the console, you'd THINK they'd want to mine that for some extra coin. A lot of people would buy the upgrade just cuz it is new.

Well and some of it could be not "flooding" consumers with day 1 upgrade "obligations"

But given ac has always been focused on the console individually vs upgrades and a new ac is 2 - 3 yrs out 🤷‍♀️
