The latest on how it's going: the ACS has apparently removed its web pages on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. I'm not aware they had any legal obligation to do that. I await a reply to my query to them.

While I was writing Serving the Reich, I was in discussion with a Nobel laureate who objected to something I'd written on science and religion. He told me what a good thing it was that German scientists had opposed the quasi-religiose Nazi regime. I had been quite polite in my responses until then.
