This piece made me furious. Nurses are asked to *bid* on shifts, offering to work lower and lower wages, and then the app can fail and not pay them at all. Because not only it is true that individuals often can't stand up against bosses, when it comes to standards, each worker can't negotiate ground rules. They're likely not even in a position to be able to see the big picture.
