It looks like the post-vaccine myocarditis was less severe than the COVID one based off histology. I wonder if the post-vaccine ones would have developed myocarditis from COVID. I still think we can say even if causative, less frequent/less serious than myocarditis caused by COVID.

We knew that vaccines can cause myocarditis, typically mild relative to infection. The paper isn't disputing that.
It looks at the differences between the two.
There are several, they are very interesting, and they are much more significant in COVID infection compared to vaccine.

Hopefully moving closer to distinguishing Covid vs. Vaccine caused cell injury dispelling some of the myths and disinformation out there regarding the dangers of the vaccines and the dangers of long Covid. This assumes the public will see and believe these advances with our new HHS leadership.
