Punctured intestinal walls, complication with anesthesia, probably was not included.
ONLY a visual can catch early-stage cancers before damage and spread occurs.
I'm up to three of these given the tumor they found and they suck every time.
Strangely when you have to do it multiple times in a few years it gets easier. Waiting on lucky #4 to see if I get to keep any of my colon.
We know that only half of pts will follow a (+) fobt result with a colonoscopy.

Anyway, the fecal blood test seems to be more reliable than I thought.

This study looked at differences between groups INVITED to receive one or the other, and in both groups, actual testing was < 40%.
It did NOT compare the efficacy of either test, when performed, of reducing mortality.
