Telehealth has reduced the spread of infectious diseases among two of our most vulnerable populations: the elderly and the disabled.

It's also expanded access to specialist care in rural areas.

Denying coverage WILL increase mortality rates.

Not always clear. Some docs require a 2nd telehealth where previously they would have sent a results letter. Also, you see htn appt w/ no documented BP. There’s room to improve telehealth and limit its purpose…but this is just slash and burn everything.

This isn’t a popular piece of information, but the original COVID bill to have Medicare cover telehealth services was written so that coverage would expire on March 31, 2025.
Extending it would/should take an act of Congress.
This one isn’t Trump, it’s Congress.
