Rue Prince Arthur is an unmitigated disaster, and there have been other mixed bag projects. There has also been no consideration of how these interventions impact public transit. The city's approach seems to be to throw things everywhere at any cost and see what sticks.

I wish people would stay comparing other cities' efforts to Montreal. Montreal has world class public transit and makes a concerted effort to preserve heritage and urban canopy unlike Victoria and Vancouver BC for example
