I would challenge that. If I am going to be honest with myself, I probably spend twice as much time talking to political progressives about policy issues than I do conservatives. What's your evidence?

It's not specifically you, it's the media landscape amplifying the voices of the politically ignorant and those that make it sound reasonable through filtered language in news articles.

When you say “political progressives” are you talking to folks at diners about the affect of Trump actions on their lives or activists and organizers about policy? I rarely see a story about regular Democratic Party voters being published. Where should I look for them?
Also ... people who don't vote, I have found, run screaming from news reporters who want to talk about politics. I don't think you understand what you're asking, if you're asking me to give them anything like equal time.
Indeed. People who don’t vote are mostly people who really dread talking or even thinking about politics and government. Bringing up such issues to such people is like firing water from a water gun at a cat.
