Trump has indicated, if not flat out stated that those troops would not be there to protect Ukraine but the US interests and mineral possessions.
Ukraine would just swap one occupier to another as US would become the colonial overlord over Ukraine.
There is not any reason to make an agreement with US mafia, who is interested only for guarding it's investments.
