Is it just me who thinks that all this talk by the UK & EU about sending troops and securing Ukraine "post-war" is just too convenient? The right time is now and there is no time to waste!
I guess these statements about what we (EU/UK) can do "after war ends" are good to show support for Ukraine, but seriously I think it's much more important to quickly state how we will bolster Ukraine's and our own defense. UA can't accept Trump's russian terms and they must know we have their backs
UK and EU should start recruiting disaffected talent from the U.S. now! Lots of good engineers, scientists, professionals of all kinds ready to leave the US
They could already do it now. Flying over Western Ukraine is far enough from the front, and they could practice shooting down Russian missiles and drones.
