The demographics of Russia will hurt it in the future. A country can’t have a future if they are killing their young in droves. Russia already has a declining population, with the number of working age Russians dying in Ukraine and the number of elderly increasing, it is only a matter of time.
I am still waiting for the necessary mental shift in Europe and the public recognition that our goal should be dismantling of the ruzzian criminal regime and not its mere containment.

That will make them North Korea for sure. A country of this population and economy cannot afford that without being North Korea. They try an arms-race ill-prepared. If the USSR had gone broke with much more ressources, they will not succeed.
Europe needs to supply Germany with its own nuclear missile systems and develop its own battlefield tactical nuclear weapons and artillery systems and supply these to the Baltic states.
Ukrainians destroy an average of 10 tanks per day, which is 3,600 tanks per year. At this rate, by 2030, the Russian Federation will have “minus 10,000 tanks.” But the EU needs to arm itself and arm Ukraine to make this happen.
Russia is in a precarious position right now. Fight them now while they're weak, or fight them in a few years after Drumpf helps rebuild and re arm them

The only hope is that a country cannot keep spending 40% of its budget without seriously impacting its citizens. This is what will be Putin's downfall.
That's the problem, this means that Putin needs to keep wagging war. He is getting old and time is running out to make a big mark on history. Same problem with Xi and Trump. Old men not caring about the future of us but with being remembered as great. Limit presidents age at 65 please.
Don't count on it, it's a backwards country. Majority of Russians don't care about increased hardships in their life and they want to follow a "strong" leader. Also add in people who openly want an imperialist conquests, brainwashed and far away regions which just don't give a fuck.
What the actual heck?! Russia has already sacrificed a big chunk of its young population and spent a hell of a fortune when they could have built infrastructure so that people could live in our century. When will the grim reaper come to get those old dictators?
Why is Putin doing this?? Isn't it better to stop waging wars and move towards construction and development?? The people of Russia deserve better than this
I do think that it is time for all of Europe to do what’s required to sort Russian aggression out once and for all. Enough games and pussy footing around. I would leave the US out of it.
