No mention of how he took over at Sunderland and got them relegated in just one season after being in the PL for 10 years. Every article seems to think this is Everton's limits, stay in your lane, don't dare to be more than just mundane and stick to what you know. Because that's where they want us.

Thinking only positively while ignoring all the facts from a situation isn't going to change those facts. Yes I pray he does better than he did in his 2nd year at West Ham, at his dismal year with Real Sociedad, and his even worse ones at Sunderland and Man Utd. But the track record says otherwise!

You mean ignoring the fact football has evolved since his 2002 appointment, since he took over a title winning squad from Sir Alex and finished lower than they had been in 20 years. Our competitors are appointing ambitious, fresh thinking managers. We"re stuck in the past making relegation decisions
