Why tariffs then? they want to bring all the manufacturers back to US. This makes all more expensive, directly throought the tariffs and indirectly throught the costs of doing business in the US which is higher in all departments.

This in turn helps the government take full control. They can force manufacturers to the government's will. Think for example DEI iniciatives and future investment. These will be aligned with current government policies helping the continious brain washing of society exacerbating societal inequality

Not sure what the solution is, I certainly do not want communism. But government spending, despite being inefficient does help spread some of the benefits of prosperity.

It is a difficult problem to solve. In my opinion a good start is taxing excessive wealth. This would not negatively affect the super rich but will cover easily the societal needs of the poor. Take musk 400 billion, tax 2%, government gets 8 billions for the society's basic needs (Health, Education)

I think a lot of MAGAs don't understand what tariffs are is because most of them never left US. They never lived abroad where (e.g.) US electronics cost 30% more than in US with all taxes and administrative work. Cutting dept of education is to ensure they are kept stupid.
