No, I was really just responding to the OP. But I think the broader point is for Dems to avoid playing into the narrative that they’re dismissive and condescending toward segments of America associated with the right (deplorables, clinging, etc). Even if it is overblown, why give it any real fodder?

true but would only change a few votes and maybe we should but my sympathy has limit for a melt down that began with the election of a black man 10 years ago, has rendered abuses upon cities and minorities, and supported a fascist to the hilt.

sorry I don't have sympathy for this when the past Democratic administration has done the most for rural American since LBJ. This isn't about struggle this about pride and wanting to have some lower in the hierarchy then them.
