I saw reporting that because the 6ers have traded a subsequent 1st, they're not allowed to amend the protections.
It seems logical to me that it would be ok to reduce protections, but idk if that's the case.
Having said that, idk if there's enough picks to get Philly to unprotect it lol.

Wondering if there would be any incentive on either side for the Thunder to give up some combination of draft picks to the Sixers in exchange for unprotecting this years pick? Thunder consolidate picks and sixers could move more picks to retool next year around a hopefully healthier team?
