30 point games allowed by team. When you play OKC, you better have a plan B.

Alex is all Thunder fans right now

Top 20 in All-Time NetRtg, plus CTG and Pbp No Low Leverage for those available:

How do teams perform against the best units in the league? Can you score on the best defenses? Stop the best offenses? When the difficulty gets turned up, are you up to the challenge? The Hall of Fame Difficulty Rating: Offense v Good Defenses - Defense v Good Offenses (CTG)

Mark Daigneault has reached .500 as an NBA Head Coach (playoffs included). Took a 2-yr tank rebuild back to .500 a little over halfway through yr 5. Started 46-108 Then 40-42 Then 102-38 Total 188-188 What a turnaround. What a coach. #ThunderUp

I saw reporting that because the 6ers have traded a subsequent 1st, they're not allowed to amend the protections. It seems logical to me that it would be ok to reduce protections, but idk if that's the case. Having said that, idk if there's enough picks to get Philly to unprotect it lol.

@stevethunderfan.bsky.social shout out for making this. Just search “Shai MVP” in the search here and it’s the first one that comes up.

New banner.

Anybody got an in at scrowdscout.net? They battened down the hatches and closed registration..

Here’s a bit longer clip of Chet today that Clemente posted over there, thought you guys might enjoy it. It includes him jumping a lil bit off that hurt side. Beginning to get very exciting…

Chet Holmgren at today’s Thunder shootaround.

OKC's historic Net Rating gets even crazier when you take out Low Leverage possessions. The Thunder have been +16.5 in minutes that matter. Once the game is out of hand, they've essentially been the Hornets, and they've played the 3rd-most of those possessions.

Split that bubble and made them light blue to highlight. With a center is a little bit better, but both are still very good.

OKC Lineup data in Buckets. Bubble size = minutes played. ↗️= good ↙️= bad The only missing minutes are the 14 (lol) with Shai and Dub both out. Takeaways: - Dub on + Shai off + iHart off should never happen again. - Chet fixes everything - Shai is the MVP - Bubbles are fun

Net True Shooting Attempts per 100 possessions. You not only have to beat the Thunder (and Rockets and Magic), you have to beat 5 extra shots too.

Presti: “ But Profes- er, Commissioner, why three 2-ways? I mean to say, isn’t seven the most powerfully magical number? Wouldn’t seve-“ Silver: “GOOD GOD, isn’t 3 enough? How could you ev-“ Presti: “Just speaking theoretically, sir!” But Silver was sure he saw a red glimmer behind Presti’s eye.

Andrew posted a pic of “Santa Chet” at an event and as far as I can tell there’s only that one very careful pic and no video available anywhere online. And I think it’s cuz he’s off the crutches and they don’t want to show us yet. 6 weeks today.

It’s pretty cool that the Thunder’s top ~12 has five guys who were picked in the 2nd round and three guys who were undrafted.

Dove deep on Isaiah Hartenstein's impact on the Oklahoma City Thunder. Think people haven't quite recognized yet how good he is. He's hovering right around that top-10 center in the NBA status at this point. Clearly worth every penny of his contract youtu.be/dkkiMmhMDg4

score would be 215-146 this season i fear

nba defensive rating ranks vs top *20* offenses (data via ctg)

The Thunder have played 501 non-Low Leverage (non-garbage time) minutes this year with at least one of Chet or iHart on the court, per pbp stats. They're +17.93 per 100.
