Personally anytime the fans do this I would give one warning only and if it continues call the game in favor of the team whose fans are not chanting even if they are not the ones winning. Force teams to lose due to their fan base actions. Close that teams game to their fan base at home games etc

Agreed. If you want to be taken seriously w/your disappointing comments, your condemning, etc then you have to have actual repercussions. Make waves. The fans who're innocent will start reporting folks if it means their team suffers losses as a result.

The audio mix went funky (after a weird glitch) on the stream right after it was first heard (around the 18). It was hard to hear the announcing, and the crowd was oddly mixed. Like they tried to kill certain mics, but it was still hearts.

Do you really think that will make them learn? So what if they drop points in a forfeit? There’s no actual penalty for being at the bottom of the table… heck the less points they get the better the draft pick.

They need to vacate the stadium and play a closed door match after each instance.

Forfeiture also means the hundreds of dollars I spent on a night out at the game are gone. Wasted. As a fan, I would be pissed at those causing that. There has to be pressure to stop it.

Also who says they get rewarded with first pick? Make it so they go 10th if it happens enough.

Fans in the stands at Snapdragon know who was chanting. The ultimate pressure is notifying security and getting bigots tossed rather than allowing the match to be forfeited.

As for the draft, you’re right… but MLS would have to change the draft rules from the way they’re currently written.
