That would have a couple of negative effects. It would make it harder for a creator to estimate the expected return on the work, and it would incentivize hiring large numbers of very young people to work on the production.

creators will still create. some of the most impactful works on society were just peoples passion project that they didnt expect to get traction.

we seriously dont need to optimize every goddamn thing for maximum profit. thats like the antithesis of art.
