I knew because McCartney brought 'Band On The Run' out when I was at uni in late '73 early 74 and it had 'Picasso's Last Words' on it. ' the grand old painter died last night...' etc

I think he was an asshole and I wish he hadn't been because the art is truly transforming. 'Guernica' is a warning and an admonishment that's going to last for a thousand years and more. And the rest of it, paintings, ceramics, sculpture etc, is sublime.
