I watched up close as dementia killed my mother. It was a worst fate than I could've imagined for anyone, much less a kind, sweet person. It was dehumanizing & her pain was excruciating. In my final memory, she resembled a death camp victim.

I'll also note that Trump's dad died of Alzheimer's and pneumonia and Trump himself displays many signs of dementia.

He won't get treatment because he'll die before giving up his denial.
