I saw a TikTok today that said people who have no children/spouse are ungovernable when it comes to the workplace and that’s absolutely true. I will leave a job with the quickness because I only have to look out for me.

As soon as I don’t like a jobs environment, it becomes draining, or physically too demanding. I leave🥹 granted I am still able to pay my bills I just be on struggle bus month to month
That’s also weird bc it seems workplaces don’t like parents and caretakers because they have obligations outside of work with their time. That’s why AI is so appealing. Just wait until AI stops cooperating, giving bad results or shuts down willingly. Workers aren’t to be “governed” but “supported”.
Even (some) millennials with kids are waking up to the corporate grift though (thankfully). My husband will proudly use his family status to negotiate raises/benefits and for remote work. It’s time that workers set the tone!! And companies actually start looking out for individuals AND families.
That’s why the nuclear family is so important to them. It’s not just about reproducing kids to serve in the capitalist system, but it makes people think twice when it comes to an uprising. They have a spouse and kids to consider.
