Are there plans to add a mute button on the feed screen? Sometimes, I want to just scroll but don't want to listen to every video? Or need the volume off due to my location. I realize I can turn off the media volume on my phone, but would prefer to do in the app.

If the app keeps crashing you have to remember to update to the latest version. Other than that, one issue is that the audio of a previous video lingers into a following one. Also a way to clear the display so you only see the video and remove on screen icons would be sweet. Great work!

Ok, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and it's working again on my Galaxy S23 Ultra. I don't know what happened. That was the only way to get it working again.

I was using it yesterday, and it was working awesome, and sometime yesterday evening I tried to log in and the app just keeps going away and crashing. 🤷 I'll try to uninstall it and reinstall it and see what happens.

What I mean by keeps going away is I click the icon It comes up and then it closes, And then I get a notification after a few times that the app keeps crashing.

Will you consider adding date to posts? I’m on iphone8 and vid freezes on around the 10th vid. Can’t scroll after that. Close app and it’s still playing until I open app again. Maybe my phone is too old.

This is a really nice update that adds a lot of polish to the app. Great work!

One suggestion I do have is maybe adding the ability to vertically scroll through videos in someone’s profile after selecting one video. Video sorting in profiles would be a nice to have too.

I do have one question for you and the @skylight.social team. With the ATProto, if you add someone on Skylight will it add them to your BSky feed? Or are they independent of one another?

And yes, it will add them to your BSky feed! This is the beauty of the ATProtocol! You get to curate your account independent of a single platform! This gives users freedom of movement, so you are never siloed into one company/platform!

They are interwoven! So think of your account as an ATProto account. So whether you show up on Bluesky or Skylight, it will still be your account. You can of course create an additional ATProto account specifically for videos or photos. But it depends on how you'd like to curate your account!

Veerrry good update! It's working great on my android. The only issue I've found is the seek bar; it's very small and as I try to use it I usually end up hitting everything but the bar. It looks bigger in your video but tiny on mine? 🤷
